Fri., April 29 at 7 a.m. at American University's Katzen Arts Center

WAMU 88.5 and The Kojo Nnamdi Show will partner with America Abroad Media and Killid Radio Afghanistan for a second "Joined By War" conversation, in which you can talk with citizens of Afghanistan about how the war has affected their lives.

America and Afghanistan have been joined by war for nearly a decade. On April 29, WAMU 88.5, America Abroad Media, and Killid Radio Afghanistan will connect audiences in Washington D.C. and Kabul via Skype on a large screen to discuss the role of women and women’s rights in Afghanistan.

Call Virginia Clairmont at 202-885-3894 for more info and to RSVP, or email her at vclairmont@wamu.org. A light breakfast will be served.
