Terry Gross comes to Washington, D.C.'s historic Lincoln Theatre on Thursday, June 9th for an evening of stories about her career as host of NPR's Fresh Air.
Terry Gross has interviewed 8,000 of the country’s most amazing writers, musicians, actors, directors, and newsmakers. In honor of NPR’s 40th anniversary, Terry is coming to The Lincoln Theatre to talk about her life behind the microphone.
She’ll play favorite tape from the Fresh Air archives and reveal who’s unnerved her, who’s walked out on her, who’s surprised her the most, and who’s moved her deeply. She’ll also take your questions.
WAMU 88.5’s Diane Rehm and NPR’s Michel Martin will join her on stage as host and moderator.
