Mattress donation

Anybody know a charity in the area that takes mattresses?  Foolishly, I bought a super-nice, super-soft one and then didn't realize that it was killing my back until past the return deadline.  Any suggestions gratefully appreciated.

ETA: Heard back from A Wider Circle, which takes donations of furniture of all kinds.  They were very nice and scheduled a pickup.

Sell it on Craigslist? Or possibly to me--what kind is it?

Tried Craigslist; didn't work. It's a Queen Beautyrest Hamlet Eurotop Mattress. At this point I am thinking more about donation but would definitely entertain offers.

Aw, rats, I need a full size; thanks anyway. You might look for charity listings and call around--my dad worked for one in the Midwest that even did pick ups.

Urgh, mattresses are hard, since they hit a lot of peoples' cleanliness squicks. But I'm still surprised that no one would take it for free on Craigslist.... Maybe Freecycle?

Thanks, but since it is basically new and quite expensive I was hoping either to sell it (failed at Craigslist) or at least donate to a 501(c)(3). If I have to use Freecycle, I will, but it'd be nice to get even a fractional deduction.
