While you're checking out Silver Spring, also look into Mayorga Coffee--food, drink, coffee (obviously) and free wi-fi. Walkable from Metro, but you want to be fairly athletic and dressed warmly.
Heya. A bit late but.. I emailed Mayorga Coffee on Saturday to see if they'd work for us or if they have a party in place that day. I'm waiting to hear from them. I can't wait too long, though, as we need to finalize these plans!
