'Yojimbo' at the AFI this weekend.

The AFI theater in Silver Spring is having a Kurosawa celebration from now to September.

This week, they're showing Yojimbo -- which the one that was basically remade as 'A Fistful of Dollars'. It's well worth seeing.

I was thinking of going Saturday or Sunday afternoon, but I'm also up for an evening show if that would work better; just let me know. There's plenty of places to eat in Silver Spring, in a variety of prices.

Ooh, and I already missed Seven Samurai. Looks like Sunday afternoon's the only possible day (for me) and even that's iffy, though. Fooey on other people and their vague plans.
