Yuletide Post-Reveal Party

(Last Yuletide-related post from me for the year, I promise :-). Thanks for your indulgence, zvi.)

People seemed interested in a post-Yuletide reveal party, so time for me to take a bleary-eyed break from reading and get serious about planning. queenbookwench has kindly agreed to host at her house in Shaw, an easy walk from Mt. Vernon Square or Shaw metro. Street parking is also available.

So! Anyone writing, reading, or generally involved in Yuletide is cheerfully invited to a post-reveal party from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, January 2. Come talk about your favorite fics, squee about your gifts, or let loose about the process of writing your own story. Or just bring your laptop and read more stories.

Please do bring some snacks or drinks to share if you can. If people get hungry beyond that, pizza or Chinese are a short phone call away.

I am definitely interested! Whether I can make it or not depends on what's going on with the family that will still be in town then, but I am going to try my best. (and possibly drag said family, stellar_dust, along, if that's okay? She didn't do yuletide this year but she has in the past and she groks fandom!)

Write-ins this year have drawn 7-12 people; I've heard from 10 people for the party at the moment, so I imagine we're holding steady in that range.

She left around 9, so I'm guessing she'll make the station you were supposed to pick her up from around 9:30-9:45? She might still be underground now.
